Over the years we have acquired extensive experience in the design and delivery of large scale Residential, Mixed Use and Commercial developments and also operate successfully in the Healthcare, Education and Leisure sectors. OMP has concentrated on the emerging practice of Urban Design and have completed multi- disciplinary masterplans ranging in scale from city extensions and district regeneration proposals to townscape studies, area action plans and urban infill projects.

In 2002 we set up our in house sustainability research group SUSCOM with the purpose of ensuring that all project design within OMP benefits from an understanding of the latest advances in regulation, technology and application. Other services available to our clients include Building Energy Rating assessments , Legal mapping and Asset Recovery Work for Banks , Receivers and Financial Institutions.

O’Mahony Pike Architects is a limited liability company with a board of eight directors, six of whom have been with the practice since its inception. Working within a team structure, our colleagues are primarily Architects and Architectural technicians with additional skills in the areas of urban design masterplanning , sustainable research and  design, graphic design, property and site appraisal and  construction related legal services. In an industry whose fortunes are cyclical in nature OMP has, over the years, employed between 30 and 130 staff and despite the severity of the recent recession, continues to retain all our best designers and experienced delivery specialists. We care about our people and, for three years in row, have been selected as one of the 50 best places to work in Ireland.

OMP has been working in the UK since 2004 and established our permanent office in Farringdon in London in 2008. Despite these recessionary times the practice is thriving with active mixed use, residential, leisure and masterplanning projects located throughout the UK.

OMP is committed to supporting the profession of architecture and James Pike, a founder of the practice, has been a member of the council of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland over many years and has served as President of Institute for the 2006-2007 term.  OMP is a practice member of the RIAI and the RIBA.
