The Gallops is a medium density residential development of 265 apartments, family duplex units and traditional dwellings on a prestigious 3.4 hectare/ 8.5 acre suburban site. This is the final phase of development on large estate lands that previously operated as a traditional farm and stud. The scheme design comprises four x four to six storey apartment blocks incorporating 173 x 1,2 and 3 bed units with underground car parking and 94 x 4 and 5 bed traditional houses and 2, 3 and 4 bed family duplex units with surface banked car parking.
The scheme is laid out as a series of pedestrian laneways accommodating the three storey houses and duplex units leading to the linear apartment buildings acting as closures to the street vistas. The design takes advantage of panoramic sea views to the east and mountain prospects to the west.
