OMP were appointed to design the Station Quarter within the District Centre. This development includes over 4340 Sqms of retail space, 486 Sqm of commercial space and 187 apartments and houses. The Station Quarter, comprising the Station Concourse and the Station Podium, is the largest plot within the District Centre. It comprises a covered Concourse that functions as the principle access and egress point for the rail station at the upper level and the Civic Square  at the lower level. The site also forms the southern edges  of West Street and East Street  and extensive frontage along Station Road.

The design solution comprises a crust of retail frontage on both sides of the Concourse , along East and West streets and along the Station Road street edge with the two storey residential car park located in the middle core. A series of North / South linear residential blocks are situated on either side of the Concourse at the station access level over the car park. Landscaped courtyards separate the Apartment buildings with access foyers located at street level . The apartment blocks vary in height between 3 and 5 storeys above the courtyard level with a 7 storey marker building identifying the station entrance and the concourse connection to the Civic Square , the most important public space in Adamstown. The pallet of materials includes light and dark buff brickwork, natural timber and zinc roofing.
